Imagine My Shock this Morning

I went to bed knowing the premise of the pumpkin Dave planned to carve, but, wow...

May I present the many faces of Patrick Swayze:

UPDATE:

We knew Patrick Swayze was from Houston, but we didn't realize that he is from the area we live in. From Wikipedia:

"Swayze was born in Houston, Texas to Jesse Wayne Swayze and choreographer and ballet school owner Patsy Swayze. According to his website, he is part Apache. His brother, Don Swayze, is also an actor. Swayze attended St Rose of Lima Catholic School, Oak Forest Elementary School, Black Middle School, and Bellaire High School in Houston. For most of his life, he lived in the Oak Forest area. His formal dance training was at the Harkness Ballet and Joffrey Ballet Schools in New York City. Swayze took dance lessons from John Travolta when making the film Dirty Dancing, Swayze and Travolta are best friends to this day."

Here's another of Dave's past pumpkins. This one was good because of its timing:

That is the best pumpkin I've seen!

I know how you feel. I haven't carved a pumpkin in four years. My pumpkins always look like crap compared to Dave's.

Last night I was remembering the S&R pumpkin and wondering if I had a picture.

Double Plus!! Sigfried and Roy and Patrick Swayze.

This has to become a tradition.

Dave is very talented and his pumpkins are a work of art!
Think I will skip doing anything with mine after this!

I'd like to sign up now for a pumpkin-carving tutorial for next fall. Please. I want to learn this magical craft.

I know you didn't ask the question, but I'm wondering if the answers are:
From left to right, Dirty Dancing Swayze, Roadhouse Swayze, North and South Swayze.

Dave is unsure about the middle Swayze, but he believes both the left and right Swayzes(sp? Swayzei?) looked like promo photos from when PS was on SNL...in the infamous Chip n' Dales skit with Chris Farley.
