MILESTONE MOMENT: Apparently Violet Knows How to Walk

Tonight we went over to Kat, Alan and Madison's for dinner. Before dinner, Violet was playing with Madison in her room while Kat and I talked. As Kat and I were chatting, I looked over and noticed that Violet just got up and walked over to a toy she wanted to play with.

Then it happened again. (And Dave and Alan got to see.)
And again.
And again.

Violet has already taken her first steps, but she wasn't full-on walking. Apparently she can and does walk.

S u r p r i s e.

Here are some photos from the night. Not of the walking, because it was all done on a very need-to-happen basis. No time for the camera. She'll probably be running next week, so we'll get that on film.

Violet, kindly please slow down. We hardly have a month until you turn one. I would ask where the past year went, but thankfully, we have this blog.

Thanks for the fun tonight. It is always great to visit with you and I love that Madison and Violet get along...minus, the tug-a-war of drumsticks. Ha! I am also glad that you are ok with my daughter teaching your daughter to jump on the bed.

Dear Violet, super cool that we could be a part of the milestone moment. I just now that you did that for us. :-)

Ah, the tug-of-war was good for them. They can serve as surrogate siblings for the time being -- gotta keep each other in check. I'm just glad that V didn't bite M.
